My family moved to Utah from California when I was a toddler. I graduated from Spanish Fork High School and then served a couple years for my church as well as several years for our state in the Utah National Guard.
BS in Computer Science at Westminster College
AS in Computer Science at Salt Lake Community College
I currently work as the web applications developer at Westminster College and thrive on the idea of constantly learning and the computer field has created this environment for me. I also have, as well as my wife, an amateur radio operator license (General Class).
I currently live in Taylorsville and have six children ranging in age from 2 to 19 years old, all have been primarily raised in Taylorsville.
I feel the proper role of the government is less government, so when I was informed the city was going to outsource our city's primary safety responsibilities while raising taxes, I had to object. I created, organized, and distributed a petition to override the city council's decision to annex our Fire Department. After collecting about double the needed signatures, we successfully pushed the decision to a ballot vote in November 2013. (This year!)
I am open to discuss issues from the people. Please use the "Contact Me" link if you have any
